Karla Puskas
Massage Therapist & RYT
The
body has a great ability to heal itself. Our responsibility is to make
sure that we provide all the necessary tools for this process by proper
nutrition, stretching techniques (such as yoga), exercise and body work.
Karla's goal is to facilitate this process with the different massage
modalities such as trigger point, injury, sports, shiatsu, reflexology,
prenatal and craniosacral. By communicating with and listening to her
clients, she is able to create the best session possible to obtain the
results that each client is looking for. Karla works with intuition and
educated decision making to deliver deep yet gentle pressure as well as
assisted stretching. She grew up in a very holistic setting using
massage therapy and herbal remedies as well as acupuncture to aid her
asthma and injuries as a child. She believes in helping people heal and
attain better awareness of their bodies so that they are able to prevent
injuries and maintain a higher level of wellness.
Barb Beard Passalacqua
Rolfer & E-RYT

After retiring from being a professional ballerina at the ripe age of
18, I attended college in Virginia and discovered athletics, weight
training and teaching Yoga and fitness classes. Post college, I moved to
Boulder, CO and began my career in the fitness industry – personal
training, teaching classes and owning several small businesses including
my own personal training facility. Over the years, I became
increasingly concerned with the chronic pain and stiffness that many of
my clients experienced due to injury or surgery rehabilitation, overuse,
or just growing older. I also experienced some aches, pain and
stiffness after many years of physical activity. After going through the
Rolfing® 10 Series, I immediately felt more youthful, more fluid with
my body’s movement and free of the aches, pain and stiffness I had
previously experienced. I was convinced that Rolfing was something I
wanted to offer my clients and others – knowing I could help improve
their quality of living. I graduated from The Rolf Institute®
and quickly found a wonderful response to my work. I have added the
Advanced Rolfing certification and Neuro-Fascial Integration training to
my list of qualifications and I continue to advance my skills and
knowledge by enrolling in continuing education courses on a regular
basis.
I have a private practice in Boulder, CO where I practice Rolfing, Neuro-Fascial Integration, Yoga (private and semi-private), and Canine Massage.
The Neuro-Fascial Integration work that I offer greatly relieves all
kinds of tendonitis and over-use symptoms. I continue to personal train
clients and to offer Yoga,
which helps maintain the positive changes they experience from Rolfing.
Because of my strong background with movement, my clients enjoy that I
incorporate Rolf Movement in their structural sessions, which further
helps them to hold onto their positive changes that they experience and
which also enhances their experience. Drawing on my years of experience
in health & fitness, I also enjoy directing the Yoga Program at One Boulder Fitness in downtown Boulder, as well as teaching at Om Time Yoga and The Yoga Pod.
I teach yoga because I want to share this wonderful form of physical,
emotional and spiritual practice/therapy with as many people as I can.
And yoga is a perfect complement to Rolfing.
To help you realize your potential in life and to enhance your
quality of living, I highly recommend Rolfing, Yoga and a personalized
exercise program.
Shannon Wilson
RYT
Shannon began practicing yoga off and on, 10 years ago,
while in college. But it wasn’t until an incredible time of transition in her
life, in 2010, did she realize how much yoga served her. Influenced by her
amazing teachers, Nancy Kate Williams and Shannon Paige Schneider, she took the
leap of faith needed to enroll in her first teacher training program. Shannon
believes that yoga has been life changing by using the physical asana practice
to connect with herself on a greater level. Through yoga, she has found a deep
sense of connection by diving inwards and grounding into her most authentic self.
Shannon has used yoga to heal ongoing anxiety and panic attacks and strives to
offer the same sense of serenity and rooting in her own classes.
Shannon currently teaches Vinyasa Flow at Om Time and is
enrolled in her second teacher training to complete a total of 500 hours of
training. She teaches Vinyasa Flow with an emphasis on alignment to create a
space of intention for true self love and acceptance. “By tuning into how
awesome we all fundamentally are, we can align ourselves to be our best selves
in this world. Only when free from self judgment and criticism can we truly
live as we’re meant to be”.

she has gained a strong awareness of the transformative powers of yoga.
Teaching was a natural progression for her and she couldn't wait to
share the power of yoga with others. Her classes focus on connection

Yoga tells us that the time is now. We have everything we need in order to be
magnificent; it is simply a matter of allowing ourselves to be who we are. When
we stop trying to conform to our own and other people’s models, and learn to be
ourselves, we will discover the nature of our own magnificence.
Amanda Jade Fiorino
RYT
Amanda, RYT - Hatha Yoga Instructor, finds inspiration in the simplest of things. She feels it is through
simplicity that we may return to our truest self, and that the most
significant relationship we will have in this lifetime is the
relationship with the self. In creating challenging classes, she strives to
help her students realize their highest potential by diving inward so as
to locate that inner strength, knowledge, and essence that will propel
them forward towards growth and change. She invites her students to
challenge themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. High energy
and a love for laughter, she seeks to smile and find lightness of heart in her teaching, her students, and her life. She believes that love, compassion
and joy are necessary tools for self-discovery, allowing us to engage
with ourselves on an intimate level while passing no judgment, and
providing unending support.
